Ketamine is a powerful anaesthetic drug which has been used for operations on humans and animals. Ketamine is also referrerd to as green, K, super K and special K.

  • Risk Assessment of Ketamine
    On 17 April, the Portuguese Presidency of the EU formally referred ketamine to the EMCDDA and Europol for risk assessment under Article 4 of the agreement. A formal risk assessment of the drug was carried out by the EMCDDA Scientific Committee and experts in Lisbon in September. This special risk-assessment session examined the health and social risks of the substance and the possible consequences of prohibition.
