Hallucinogens are drugs which change the way a person perceives the world. LSD or acid is one of the most commonly used hallucinogens in Australia. Other hallucinogens include psilocybin (magic mushrooms), PCP (phencyclidine or angel dust), mescaline and so on. Certain drugs such as MDMA and cannabis may produce hallucinogenic effects when used in high doses or in particular circumstances.
